The lawmakers are reacting to whistleblower testimony highlighted in a report by the House Judiciary Committee and Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
"The FBI’s refusal to provide this single document is obstructionist," stated Comer, adding, "Congress and the American people need to know what, if anything, the FBI did to verify the allegations contained within this record."
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) questioned several Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) whistleblowers regarding the FBI's actions surrounding the January 6 Capitol riot.
Comer responded: "It’s clear from the FBI’s response that the unclassified record the Oversight Committee subpoenaed exists, but they are refusing to provide it to the Committee."
