U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Tuesday introduced Articles of Impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray, accusing him of political bias and misuse of power.

In her announcement, Rep. Greene made a series of serious allegations against Wray, claiming that under his leadership, “the FBI has intimidated, harassed, and entrapped American citizens that have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime,” according to a press release.

She added that Wray has transformed the FBI into “Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force.”

The Georgia representative referred to a series of incidents that she says demonstrate Wray’s mismanagement.

Citing the testimony of whistleblowers and leaked documents, Greene painted a picture of an FBI that is targeting specific groups for political reasons.

She highlighted an FBI whistleblower, Garret O’Boyle, who she said confirmed to congressional investigators that the FBI had created a “terrorist threat tag” to target pro-life individuals following the Dobbs Supreme Court decision in 2022.

Greene also discussed a leaked FBI document that outlined a plan to spy on Traditional Latin Mass Catholics, alleging the FBI planned to use informants within the Catholic Church.

“FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin obtained a leaked FBI document that targets Traditional Latin Mass Catholics,” Greene said.

“The document, titled ‘Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists (RMVE) and their interests in ‘Radical-Traditionalist Catholics’ or RTCs,’ outlined a plan for the FBI to spy on Catholics.”

In her statement, Greene compared the treatment of former President Donald J. Trump with that of current President Joe Biden, arguing that there’s a “two-tiered justice” system in place.

She claimed that while the FBI raided Trump’s residence Mar-a-Lago in search of classified documents, Biden was allegedly allowed to store classified documents from his time as Senator and Vice President in his garage and in remote facilities without any repercussions.

“Joe Biden broke the law, but he was never treated like a criminal and national security threat like innocent President Trump was,” Greene argued.

The congresswoman also accused Wray of shielding President Biden’s family, specifically referencing a senior FBI official who left the agency amid accusations of protecting a laptop belonging to the President’s son, Robert Hunter Biden, from a criminal investigation.

In light of these allegations, Greene concluded: “It is unacceptable for the Director of the FBI or any civil officer to exercise his power in a way that targets one political class while doing favors for the other.”

She is now leveraging her powers as a duly elected Member of the House of Representatives to introduce the Articles of Impeachment against Director Wray.

Greene is also introducing Articles of Impeachment against U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves.

She is accusing him of subverting the justice system and contributing to the rise of violent crime in Washington D.C. Graves, who assumed office in November 2021.

Graves has faced criticism for refusing to prosecute a significant percentage of arrests and focusing on the prosecution of political protesters instead.

His alleged actions have led to calls for his impeachment due to a perceived dereliction of duty and partisan behavior, according to MTG.
