A recent study conducted by Spanish researchers found a possible link between COVID-19 vaccination and reactivation of herpesviridae family of viruses, according to an exhaustive review published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
"The most frequent psychiatric manifestations are behavioral or personality/mood changes, ranging from irritability or agitation to severe anxiety, depression, and full-blown psychosis with abnormal thought processes and hallucinations," the study authors write.
"Biontech/Pfizer's mRNA vaccine approval may have been based on incorrect documentation. There are increasing doubts about the data from the pivotal phase 3 study. Pfizer dodges the allegations and refuses to review."
"To our knowledge, our study is the first to detect Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccine sequences in blood after vaccination, and therefore provides new knowledge regarding the timeframe in which the mRNA can be detected," the study authors write.
Immunity acquired from a COVID-19 infection can provide strong and lasting protection against severe illness and death, according to the largest meta-analysis to date on immunity following infection published in The Lancet.
A study found elevated levels of spike protein circulating in the bloodstream of individuals who developed postvaccine myocarditis after receiving the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, which might potentially contribute to myocarditis by causing inflammation.
“There have been no deaths in children or adolescents determined to be linked to COVID-19 vaccination," according to a safety report from November 2022.
A surveillance program developed by the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) is now being implemented across clinics and hospitals throughout the nation.
