Missouri Senator Josh Hawley is calling for a Department of Justice investigation into the Nashville school shooting as a hate crime against Christians, citing federal law and urging the FBI and DHS to deploy all necessary resources to hold those accountable for the shooting.

The officers who took down the transgender attacker responsible for the deadly shooting in Nashville Monday have been identified.

Bodycam footage has been released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department of officers engaging with the mass shooter Audrey Hale, who killed six people including three children at the Covenant School in Nashville before being killed by police officers.

Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake said at a press conference that Nashville, Tennessee, shooter Audrey Hale was receiving treatment for an "emotional disorder."

Four people, including the transgender shooter (28), have died in an active shooter situation at a school in Green Hills, Tennessee.
