Protesters inside the Tennessee State Capitol counted transgender killer Audrey Hale among the victims of the school shooting in Nashville during a moment of silence.

Protesters demanding stricter gun control legislation in response to a recent mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville stormed the Tennessee Capitol building, resulting in chaos and at least one demonstrator being detained and released amid the commotion.

"You're just screaming at me," Massie told Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

Head of Covenant School Dr. Katherine Koonce was reportedly gunned down after confronting the shooter.

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley is calling for a Department of Justice investigation into the Nashville school shooting as a hate crime against Christians, citing federal law and urging the FBI and DHS to deploy all necessary resources to hold those accountable for the shooting.
