GOP, Trump to Investigate Leftist Network

President Trump declared that leftist groups and agitators are under investigation for their links to the death of Charlie Kirk.

“The problem we have is on the left, if you look at the problem,” Trump told reporters. “The problem is on the left. It’s not on the right like some people like to say is on the right.”

“The problem we have is on the left,” he reiterated. “When you look at the agitators, when you look at the scum that speaks so badly of our country, the American flag burnings all over the place, that’s the left, that’s not the right.”

Discussing investigations into leftists, Trump said, “They’re already under major investigation, a lot of the people that you would traditionally say are on the Left.”

Trump’s comments follow a group of Republican representatives urging House Speaker Mike Johnson, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer to form a select committee to investigate the “money, influence, and power behind the radical left’s assault on America and the rule of law.”

“The patterns are undeniable: we are witnessing a sustained breakdown of law and order, fueled not by chance, but by anti-American ideology,” the letter, led by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), read. “Of course, we witnessed the 2024 assassination attempt on President Trump as well as the 2017 shooting of Republican lawmakers at baseball practice, but it goes well beyond politicians and to the people themselves.”

“We have seen George Soros, the Wren Collective, and other radical organizations funding and putting in place District Attorneys and Judges to then coordinate releasing criminals to the streets,” the Republicans added, declaring that “enough is enough.”

“We must follow the money to identify the perpetrators of the coordinated anti-American assaults being carried out against us and take all steps under the law necessary to stop them. The best option is a full, stand-alone committee with complete authority to elevate and investigate these matters,” the letter noted.

Tom Cotton, Al Jazeera Clash Goes Viral After Fiery Exchange

A heated Tom Cotton, Al Jazeera exchange in the Senate halls sparked viral attention after the Arkansas senator dismissed the network’s questioning over Gaza and accused it of sympathizing with terrorists.

The back-and-forth began when an Al Jazeera reporter pressed Cotton on why he supports the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Fund, citing U.N. claims that over 1,000 people died while receiving aid. Cotton shot back: “You believe the U.N.? Give me a break. They run interference for Palestinian terrorists.”

The reporter then asked if Cotton was disputing “the world’s leading experts” on famine. Cotton responded sharply: “The world’s leading experts on famine are left-wing clowns who are anti-Semites and anti-Zionists.”

Cotton also pressed the journalist on how he gained access to Gaza. “Who’s letting you go in to film in Gaza? That would be Hamas,” he said. When the reporter disclosed he worked for Al Jazeera, Cotton laughed and replied: “That’s what I thought. Beautiful. What do you say about working for a terrorist sympathizing network?”

The senator concluded the exchange with a blunt rebuke: “You’re an embarrassment. You got anything more? I’m happy to keep going.”

The clash underscored long-running concerns about Al Jazeera’s ties to Hamas, including instances where its journalists were linked to terror activity.

Zohran Mamdani Ally Calls Hochul ‘Evil,’ Backs ‘Genocidal’ Smear

A top Zohran Mamdani ally has escalated tensions in New York politics by blasting Democratic governor Kathy Hochul as “evil” and appearing to endorse a post calling her a “genocidal monster.”

Gustavo Gordillo, co-chair of the New York City Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), played a key role in Mamdani’s upset win in the Democratic mayoral primary. He has since worked with Mamdani’s team on a sweeping left-wing platform branded as “co-governance.”

Gordillo labeled Hochul “our evil governor” in a December 2024 X post and, months earlier, seemingly backed a post calling her a “genocidal monster.” The remarks surfaced as Hochul edges closer to a possible endorsement of Mamdani. “We’ve had some candid conversations about his leadership and where the city could go,” Hochul said in a recent interview.

The DSA co-chair has also targeted other Democrats. Ahead of a 2024 congressional primary, he called Rep. George Latimer a “Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon” and a “segregationist.” Gordillo’s social media activity also includes praise for Marxist figures and even a call for a campaign to “get the US to return the 8 states it stole from Mexico.”

Despite this, Mamdani has maintained a strong lead in November’s polls. Hochul, meanwhile, has avoided addressing Gordillo’s comments directly.

US, UK Announce ‘Golden Age’ Nuclear Energy Deal

The United States and the United Kingdom announced a new nuclear energy deal ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit to the country.

The agreement, called the Atlantic Partnership for Advanced Nuclear Energy, is described as the “golden age” of nuclear, as the energy expansion is “central to the UK government’s clean energy superpower mission, as part of the UK’s drive to build more clean homegrown power to ensure energy security.”

“With President Trump’s leadership, the United States is ushering in a true nuclear renaissance – harnessing the power of commercial nuclear to meet rising energy demand and fuel the AI revolution,” said U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright. “Meeting this demand will require strong partnerships with our allies around the world and robust collaboration with private sector innovators.”

He added that the deal sets up a “framework to unleash commercial access in both the U.S. and UK, enhancing global energy security, strengthening U.S. energy dominance, and securing nuclear supply chains across the Atlantic.”

Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the deal a “landmark” partnership that will “set us well on course to a golden age of nuclear that will drive down household bills in the long run, while delivering thousands of good jobs in the short term.”

The partnership includes fusion energy, experimental programs, AI technology, and commercial deals with companies such as X-Energy, Centrica, Holtec, EDF, Tritax, Last Energy, DP World, Urenco, Radiant, TerraPower, and KBR.

Earlier this year, Trump signed executive orders boosting the nuclear industry, reducing red tape, encouraging collaborations with private companies, and another to speed up the approval for specialized nuclear reactors.

Dearborn, MI Names Street in Honor of Radical Terror Supporter

The city of Dearborn, represented by Democrat Rashida Tlaib, has honored Osama Siblani, a publisher and activist with a history of praising terror groups, by naming a street after him. The Osama Siblani sign now marks the intersection of Warren Avenue and Chase Road, a busy area lined with bakeries, shops, and the Islamic Center of Detroit.

Siblani, founder of the Arab American News, has a long record of inflammatory remarks about Israel and support for militant groups. At a 2022 rally, he told supporters, “We are the Arabs who are going to lift Palestinians all the way to victory … Believe me, everyone should fight within his means. They will fight with stones, others will fight with guns, others will fight with planes, drones, and rockets.”

His rhetoric has drawn condemnation from Jewish organizations and national watchdog groups. Sacha Roytman, CEO of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, said, “Wayne County’s naming of a street in honor of Osama Siblani is a disturbing move that only stokes the flames of hate… The growing normalization of such toxic rhetoric undermines the security of Jewish Americans, who are already facing unprecedented levels of antisemitic hostility.”

Despite these concerns, Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer has maintained ties to Siblani, including bringing him on a trade trip to the Middle East. National Jewish groups like the Anti-Defamation League have criticized such moves, with ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt stating, “Siblani is simply the wrong choice to serve as an interlocutor with the administration.”

Biden Library Faces Donor Exodus as Funding Goals Collapse

The Biden library is struggling to attract financial support as major Democratic donors refuse to commit, according to a Friday NBC News report. Even longtime Biden allies who once bundled millions are now distancing themselves from the project.

“Most of the more than half a dozen people who were once major Biden donors or bundlers who spoke with NBC News said they harbored no ill will toward Biden himself but either wouldn’t give to the library or would give only a token amount,” the outlet reported. Some described negative experiences with Biden’s inner circle that left them unwilling to contribute again. Others are holding back funds for future Democratic campaigns.

“Me? No way,” one former administration official said when asked about donating. Prominent Democratic donor Susie Buell told NBC she is “not inclined to give to libraries,” while another donor added, “I’d like him to have some nice library. I just don’t see that’s where I’m going to spend my money.”

The Biden team reportedly aims to raise between $200 million and $300 million for the project—far less than the $500 million raised for George W. Bush’s library or the $850 million for Barack Obama’s. But supporters acknowledge a difficult road ahead.

“I don’t think ‘hill’ is the proper term,” one major donor with close ties to Biden told NBC. “It’s going to be much steeper than that.”

Trump Hints at TikTok Deal

President Trump suggested that a deal had been reached with China on the future of the social media app TikTok.

“The big Trade Meeting in Europe between The United States of America, and China, has gone VERY WELL! It will be concluding shortly. A deal was also reached on a ‘certain’ company that young people in our Country very much wanted to save,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They will be very happy! I will be speaking to President Xi on Friday. The relationship remains a very strong one!!! President DJT”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters confirmed that the Trump administration has a “framework” for a deal.

“We have a framework for a TikTok deal. The two leaders, President Trump and Party Chair Xi, will speak on Friday to complete the deal, but we do have a framework for a deal with TikTok,” Bessent said.

U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said, “President Trump played a role in this, we had a call with him last night, we had specific guidance from him; we shared it with our Chinese counterparts. Without his leadership and the leverage he provides, we would not have been able to conclude the deal today.”

In June, Trump signed an “Executive Order extending the Deadline for the TikTok closing for 90 days (September 17, 2025),” he wrote on Truth Social at the time.

According to the executive order, the Department of Justice “shall take no action to enforce the Protecting Americans From Adversary Controlled Applications Act…or impose any penalties against any entity for any noncompliance with the Act, including for distributing, maintaining, or updating of any foreign adversary controlled application as defined in the Act.”

9/11 Victim’s Relative Warns: ‘Globalize the Intifada’ Invites Another 9/11, References Mamdani

A relative of a firefighter killed on Sept. 11, 2001, warned that public officials who refuse to denounce the slogan globalize the intifada are “inviting another 9/11.” His comments came during a remembrance ceremony in New York City on Thursday, with a clear reference to socialist mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani.

“I know my cousin Steve and many, many others would agree with me when I say: Let’s continue to press all politicians, including those who went home already, to firmly renounce terror and violence,” Mike Weinstein said. “When political candidates and public officials refuse to condemn global terror and phrases like ‘globalize the intifada,’ they are inviting another 9/11, God forbid. And they continue to bring daily fear for all New Yorkers.”

Weinstein’s cousin, firefighter Stephen Belson, died rescuing people from the South Tower. Weinstein urged candidates to set aside politics and unite: “We need all political candidates, including every single potential future mayor—and you know who I’m talking about—of this great city to speak out against terror and unite as freedom-loving New Yorkers.”

Mamdani has defended the phrase as “a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.” The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum strongly disagreed, writing: “Since 1987 Jews have been attacked and murdered under its banner. All leaders must condemn its use and the abuse of history.”

Politico’s Charlie Kirk Smear Sparks Outrage on 9/11

POLITICO

After conservative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at Utah Valley University, Politico published a piece on the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks that featured far-left streamer Hasan Piker, who once said “America deserved 9/11.” The coverage has sparked outrage from conservatives.

“I don’t think [Kirk] was ever debating for the purpose of finding the truth or from a position of intellectual curiosity,” Piker told Politico. He argued that Kirk’s campus debates were “propaganda” meant to humiliate opponents. Piker also suggested Kirk’s advocacy contributed to his own murder: “The rhetoric that came from Charlie was understandably seen by many people as also being inherently violent.”

Piker, who has millions of followers online, has previously faced backlash for denying Hamas atrocities and for controversial remarks about U.S. foreign policy. His appearance in Politico’s coverage came just weeks after the New Yorker faced criticism from the Anti-Defamation League for inviting him to its annual festival.

Politico was not alone in airing critical commentary. MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd said, “I always go back to ‘hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions,’” while anchor Katy Tur described Kirk as a “divisive figure.”

Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot in the neck while speaking to students. Police have since arrested a 22-year-old Utah resident as the suspected assassin.

TPUSA Flooded With 32,000 Chapter Requests After Charlie Kirk Assassination

Turning Point USA received over 32,000 requests to launch new student chapters in the 48 hours following the assassination of its founder, Charlie Kirk. The surge represents a massive groundswell of support among young conservatives determined to carry forward Kirk’s mission on high school and college campuses nationwide.

The organization currently maintains approximately 900 chapters on college campuses and 1,200 chapters in high schools. In total, TPUSA operates about 3,500 chapters across the country. The unexpected wave of interest signals a rapid acceleration in growth for the conservative student movement.

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, described the outpouring as unprecedented. He noted that “Club America,” TPUSA’s high school-based initiative, had already been expanding but may now reach national saturation far sooner than anticipated. Kirk had championed the idea that conservative values must be instilled at the youngest levels of education.

TPUSA, founded in 2012, has become the leading student organization advocating for free markets, limited government, and constitutional values. Its activism includes speaker events, chapter-led outreach, and digital media initiatives designed to challenge progressive dominance on campuses.

Kirk’s murder sent shockwaves through the conservative movement, but it also appears to have reignited youth enthusiasm for his cause. The group is now preparing to handle the administrative challenge of vetting, launching, and supporting thousands of new chapters. Staff have reported working overtime to process applications and respond to inquiries from students, parents, and teachers eager to get involved.
