Former President Donald Trump has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize board for jointly awarding the New York Times and Washington Post the 2018 National Reporting prize over their coverage of the Russian collusion scandal.
The House Democrat-led January 6th committee is planning to release its final “report” on the unrest that took place at the U.S. Capitol following the 2020 election. Sources spoke to Politico about the “chapter list” that will be in the report, which will be released before Republicans take control of the U.S. House of Representatives in early January.

"For this reason, we urge you to pair the military and economic support the United States has provided to Ukraine with a proactive diplomatic push, redoubling efforts to seek a realistic framework for a ceasefire," the Democratic lawmakers’ letter read.
