My fellow Americans, please, if you have a seat, take it. I speak to you tonight from sacred ground in America: Independence...
Since the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan last year -- a withdrawal considered disastrous by many critics -- 50% of Americans believe it was a mistake to send U.S. troops into that country in 2001.
A Marine who was in Afghanistan when that country fell to the Taliban and who now lives in Texas told lawmakers he’s seen more dead bodies from migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border than he did during his tour of duty.
Much of what American soldiers fought for in World War II has “gone down the drain,” according to U.S. Marine Carl Spurlin Dekel, who celebrated his 100th birthday last week.
Marine Cpl. Hershel “Woody” Williams, the last living World War II Medal of Honor of recipient, passed away June 29 at the Huntington, W.Va., VA Medical Center, which bears his name. He was 98.
