Russia has banned Transparency International, a Germany-based NGO funded by George Soros, for interfering in the internal affairs of Russia and posing a risk to its constitutional order and security.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his press secretary avoided explanations as to why Buttigieg took almost three weeks to travel to East Palestine, Ohio, following a hazardous train derailment.
"I have to say today that Russia is suspending its participation in New START. I repeat, not withdrawing from the treaty, no, but merely suspending its participation," Putin said.
