The NSA denied ‘targeting’ Tucker Carlson, but did not deny reading his emails. The NSA also did not deny that it may have accessed his communications through ‘incidental collection.’
CNN hosts Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy asserted that “Tucker Carlson is the new Alex Jones” during Stelter’s show after they played clips where Carlson’s rhetoric was similar to Jones’ on several different issues.
"It's not like the NSA's never lied to us. We were told that there was no bulk collection of Americans' data. Turns out, there was bulk collection of Americans' data," he says.
"The whistleblower, who is in a position to know, repeated back to us information about a story we are working on that could have only come directly from my texts and emails. There's no other possible source for that information, period."
