Endorsements from former President Donald Trump are continuing to pay dividends to the GOP candidates who receive them, as evidenced in a pair of primary races Tuesday evening in West Virginia.

The former president endorsed 22 candidates in the two states.

The Tennessee GOP has voted to remove three candidates who were vying for a seat representing the state’s 5th Congressional District.

Biggest name in very crowded field

Former President Trump told a crowd gathered at a rally in Georgia that he is the true winner of the 2020 election and blamed the state’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, who he is working to help defeat in a May 24 primary.

Four Republican senators sat out the vote for an amendment that would have defunded the remaining vaccine mandates put in place by Joe Biden.
