In terms of popularity, Trump enjoys an approval rate of 79% among potential GOP voters, while DeSantis is viewed favorably by 71% of the party's electorate.
"The FBI’s refusal to provide this single document is obstructionist," stated Comer, adding, "Congress and the American people need to know what, if anything, the FBI did to verify the allegations contained within this record."
DeSantis' announcement, released in an audio-only format, was made public through an FEC filing ahead of a virtual conversation with Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter.
