The House Committee on Education and the Workforce is investigating whether the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Biden Center violated any laws with regards to classified documents found at the think tank and the university's foreign donations, and is requesting documents and communication related to the matter from the Department of Education.

The US military has reported more than 15,000 service members overdosing on illicit drugs in the past five years, with 332 deaths, as Fentanyl overdose deaths have doubled since 2017, particularly among white male soldiers under 33 years old, and military bases hosting elite soldiers bore higher concentrations of overdoses, with the need for greater attention and resources to address the overdose crisis in the military becoming more pressing.
The bill will both "Ensure that health care facilities that discriminate against patients based on their COVID-19 vaccination status are barred from receiving federal funds" and "Protect vulnerable patients’ right to make their own private health care decisions without being penalized for making those decisions."
