Newly empowered House Republicans on Sunday demanded the White House turn over all information related to its searches that have uncovered classified documents at President Joe Biden's home and former office in the wake of more records found at his Delaware residence.
The Biden administration has failed to comply with the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into President Joe Biden’s mishandling of top secret documents after promising the “highest standards of transparency” in United States history.
House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) demanded information on the identities of the Biden officials who searched the classified documents.
Rep. Mike Turner (R) alleges Biden was in “potential violation of laws protecting national security, including the Espionage Act and Presidential Records Act."
The White House announced that a batch of documents, including some with classified markings, from President Biden's time as Vice President were discovered at the Penn Biden Center and have been handed over to the National Archives.
