The hearing concluded that ESG measures are harming the ability of businesses to provide financial returns, leading to negative impacts on retirees and pensions.
This decrease in subscribers comes after a 2.4 million drop during the first quarter, marking the first decline for Disney+ since its launch in November 2019.
“I can’t think of any bill that’s going to provide more protections to more people who are more vulnerable than this piece of legislation," said Rep. Beltran.
