The European Court of Human Rights has upheld a 2018 ruling by the United Kingdom Supreme Court in favor of a Christian bakery in Northern Ireland that refused to bake and decorate a cake with a slogan affirming gay marriage.

I've interviewed Gary Johnson. I think he is a decent guy and he was a pretty good governor, actually, but he was a terrible presidential candidate. I actually publicly supported him because my feeling was, "Hey, let's just get this guy on stage one time. Trump's going to beat him senseless. And Hillary will whack him on the other side with facts or, whatever it is that Hillary does with people." But I wanted for a moment, to let there be one applause line for a libertarian. I thought that would be good. And then unfortunately he didn't get in. And then in this past election, I had Jo Jorgensen on my show and she flat-out asked me if I was going to vote for her, which was a very bad thing for a guest to do, because I said, "no."
Over the past half-century or so, American law enforcement and popular culture have conferred an extra level of seriousness and gravity to “hate crimes” as opposed to regular crimes. The definition of a hate crime, according to the FBI, is a regular crime with an added element of bias. “A ‘criminal’ offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity,” the FBI.gov website states.
Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly signed a $275 billion deal with China in 2016 in order to prevent a crackdown by the communist government on its vast business in the country.
