(The Star News Network) A Mark Zuckerberg-funded nonprofit, the Center for Election Innovation and Research, gave a virtually inactive Michigan nonprofit, The Michigan Center for Election Law and Administration, a $12 million grant in September 2020 for the putative purpose of helping voters figure out how to navigate the supposed complexities of mail-in ballots, as The Michigan Star reported in April 2021.
An Asia Society effort – advised by several Chinese Communist Party-linked individuals – has partnered with schools across the U.S. to shape curricula and teaching faculty to become consistent with a “social justice” approach to education that encourages “teaching activism” in favor of left-wing causes such as “equity,” “globalism,” and “unraveling systemic racism.”
Amazon has drawn backlash on social media for being “nefarious” after offering people $10 to enroll in its controversial palm print recognition system. The tech uses biometric scanners to identify shoppers and verify payments.
One Million Moms, a Christian conservative group, is upset that pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly highlighted transgenderism in one of its newest ads. A particular line in the narration of the ad struck the Christian group as offensive, especially when the line was accompanied by footage of a person who had double mastectomy scars.
"We need to be careful because, as it's obvious, pharmaceutical companies wish to make a profit, and would like to keep always selling vaccines for everyone."
