A transgender Olympic athlete that qualified as an alternate to represent the United States at this year’s Summer Olympics said last year that the goal was to win and then burn an American flag on the Olympic podium.
The clown show over at MSNBC might have reached peak clownishness on Tuesday when a member of the New York Times’s editorial board implied the American flag is a threatening symbol of whiteness.
A New York Times editorial board member said that she was "disturbed" upon seeing "dozens of American flags" on Americans' vehicles over the weekend and insisted that the country needs to "separate America from whiteness."
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors asserted the American flag is not a symbol she “stands by” in a 2015 video unearthed by The National Pulse.
