In a recent interview with Piers Morgan on his television show, “The Talk,” 2024 Democratic Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) shared his views on the impact of the assassinations of his father, Robert F. Kennedy, and uncle, President John F. Kennedy, National File reports.

The environmental lawyer argued that his relatives’ deaths marked a turning point for America and the world, as they had been fighting against the military-industrial complex and the dangerous merger of corporate and state power.

RFK Jr. explained to Piers Morgan, “My father and uncle were fighting against the emergence of the military-industrial complex.”

He continued, stating that the loss of the Kennedy brothers had significant consequences: “Their deaths really marked a fork in the road for our country and the rest of the world.”

Kennedy Jr. elaborated on the direction the United States took after their deaths, saying, “we started down this road towards corporatism, what I call the merger, this corrupt merger of state and corporate power.”

He emphasized the far-reaching implications of this shift, both domestically and internationally, National File notes.

The Presidential hopeful also mentioned President Eisenhower’s warning just days before John F. Kennedy took office.

Kennedy Jr. recalled, “President Eisenhower wanted us,” to be cautious about the “rise of the military-industrial complex which has turned America into a warfare state abroad and a surveillance state at home.”

ABC News recently confirmed that it altered a recent interview with RFK Jr., removing what the left-wing news outlet referred to as “false claims” he made regarding COVID-19 vaccines.

Kennedy apparently had made statements regarding the connection between childhood vaccines and autism, which ABC rejected, despite some children’s vaccines containing mercury, a chemical that peer-reviewed medical journals have designated as a risk factor for autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

In March, RFK Jr. told his Twitter followers that if he were to become a candidate, his main objective would be to terminate the corrupt consolidation of state and corporate authority.

“If it looks like I can raise the money and mobilize enough people to win, I’ll jump in the race,” he tweeted.

“If I run, my top priority will be to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedoms,” Kennedy went on to say.

“Together we can restore America’s democracy.”
