U.S. Border Patrol Reports Sex Offender Encounters Dramatically Increase In 2021: Project Veritas (VIDEO)

Project Veritas claims it has received new information from the U.S. Border Patrol indicating that the agency’s number of encounters with sex offenders has increased dramatically in 2021, likely due to the policy of the Biden administration opening the borders on January 20, 2021.

A Customs and Border Patrol Agent speaks out regarding leaked government documents showing a record spike in “sex offender encounters” at Southern Border.

“I have witnessed the aftermath of some sexual assaults on the border,” said the anonymous source, adding, “I have sat in a hospital with women that’D been raped.”

  • A Brave Insider from the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol [CBP] agency has corroborated leaked government documents sent to Project Veritas, showing that “Criminal aliens with sex-related offenses are attempting to re-enter the United States in record numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
  • Leaked document shows “there was a significant increase” of agents encountering “criminal aliens with sex-related offenses,” during the coronavirus outbreak in 2020.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital announces plans to discriminate and deny treatment to patients based on skin color

A recent piece in the Boston Review, written by physicians Michelle Morse and Bram Wispelwey, announces an alarming new “antiracist” agenda at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

The pilot initiative, inspired by Critical Race Theory scholarship, will include “a preferential admission option for Black and Latinx heart failure patients to our specialty cardiology service.”

In other words, the hospital plans to intentionally discriminate, based on race, against some patients in the allocation of specialized and limited cardiac care (beds, personnel, resources).

“Offering preferential care based on race or ethnicity may elicit legal challenges from our system of colorblind law,” Morse and Wispelwey admit.

“But given the ample current evidence that our health, judicial, and other systems already unfairly preference people who are white, we believe—following the ethical framework of Zack and others—that our approach is corrective and therefore mandated.”

GameStop Up 13% More As ‘Reddit Army’ Bets On Sales Turnaround

“Meme” stock-in-chief GameStop jumped another 13% in value on Friday, building on a surge since results earlier this week that showed online sales improving and a much-hyped management reshuffle gathering pace.

The video-game retailer, whose shares rose as high as $483 in a battle with short-sellers in January, has now risen more than five times in value since hitting a low of $38.50 per share in mid-February.

It was trading at around $190 by mid-morning, but was still down about 5% on the week after the company pointed to the possibility of a share sale in its earnings filing on Tuesday.

“It’s fascinating because it seems that the Reddit army is doubling down and believing that the company is going to be able to shift their business and pivot to e-commerce,” said Edward Moya, senior market analyst at OANDA.

The company has benefited from a push by retail investors, often on online forums such as Reddit’s popular WallStreetBets, to drive up prices of stocks they believed were undervalued.

Short interest in GameStop has fallen to about 15% of the stock’s float from a peak of 141% in the first week of 2021, according to data from financial analytics firm S3 Partners.

Chewy Inc co-founder Ryan Cohen is seeking to transform the retailer into an e-commerce firm that can take on big-box store rivals such as Target Corp and Walmart Inc.

Chief Financial Officer Jim Bell has departed and the company said this week it had appointed former Amazon.com executive Jenna Owens as Chief Operating Officer.

Bill Hwang, founder and co-CEO of Archegos Capital Management, quietly built a multibillion-dollar empire using derivatives—risky investments that speculate on which direction the market will go.

Last week, the market turned in the opposite direction from how Hwang had bet. And now Hwang is at the center of what Bloomberg calls “one of the biggest margin calls of all time—a multibillion-dollar fiasco involving secretive market bets that were dangerously leveraged and unwound in a blink.”

Vaccine Passports May Not Be Effective in Reducing Spread of COVID-19: Experts

Experts say that relying solely on vaccine passports to allow people to engage in certain activities again is not an effective mitigation tool to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and may distract from other necessary interventions or from the message of vaccination itself.

“I think pinning all our hopes on and putting all our efforts into vaccine passports as the main solution to opening up travel might be the wrong strategy,” Dr. Sarah Chan, an expert in bioethics at the Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh, told NTD’s “The Nation Speaks” in a recent interview. “And if we put too much emphasis on passports as the sole strategy, I think we risk creating a false sense of security that might lead people actually to increase their personal risk behaviors,” she said.

Chan said that vaccine passports may divert resources and attention from other important “structural and social interventions to address the wider effects of the pandemic such as education, mental health, and so forth.”

The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic and the resulting economic downturn have negatively affected people’s mental health. The Kaiser Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization, says about four in 10 American adults have reported symptoms of depression or anxiety, “up from one in 10 adults who reported these symptoms from January to June 2019.”

Poor mental health has affected young adults aged 18 to 24 the most, with 56 percent of them reporting depressive and/or anxiety disorder, and being more likely to turn to substance abuse (25 percent versus 13 percent of all adults) and suicidal thoughts (26 percent versus 11 percent of all adults).

Chan also worries that vaccine passports may make inequality worse for those who are unable to get the vaccine due to preexisting health conditions and those in poorer communities and countries.

Report: Matt Gaetz May Retire From Congress Early, Pursue Job With Newsmax

Axios is reporting that pro-Trump Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (FL) is eyeing an early retirement from Congress and is interested in pursuing a job at NewsMax.

The outlet cites three sources that claim Gaetz is “seriously considering not seeking re-election and possibly leaving Congress early for a job at Newsmax.”

“Gaetz has told some of his allies he’s interested in becoming a media personality, and floated taking a role at Newsmax,” they write.

One of the sources even states that the emphatic Trump supporter and the network have already engaged in discussions about the role he might fill.

The congressman’s office did not respond to requests for comment according to Axios.

Gaetz was elected to Congress in 2016 and has been a loyal supporter of former President Donald Trump even after his departure from office.

As President Biden’s White House YouTube channel continues to see videos’ “dislikes” massively trump “likes,” the video platform announced it is testing a new design that obscures a public dislike count.

The move was announced via Twitter on March 30th, with YouTube explaining “in response to creator feedback around well-being and targeted dislike campaigns, we’re testing a few new designs that don’t show the public dislike count.”

As a result, only the accounts publishing videos will be able to see the dislike to like ratio.

Iowa Democrat Drops Election Challenge Over House Race, Giving GOP Another 2020 Victory

Iowa Democrat Rita Hart has dropped her election challenge to Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks’s 2020 victory in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District.

Hart on March 31 withdrew her challenge to her state-certified, six-vote loss with the House Administration Committee. A number of Democratic lawmakers in recent days said House leaders shouldn’t attempt to overturn the election results.

“After many conversations with people I trust about the future of this contest, I have made the decision to withdraw my contest before the House Committee on Administration,” Hart said in a statement. “Since Election Day, and throughout this entire process, my mission has been about ensuring the voices of Iowans who followed the law are not silenced. I am saddened that some Iowans’ votes will not count through no fault of their own. The work of ensuring it does not happen again will continue beyond this campaign.”

The decision by Hart comes as House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Miller-Meeks stopped in Iowa to criticize House Democratic efforts.

“The idea that Democrats want to turn over an election after it’s been counted, recounted, and a bipartisan election board had voted,” McCarthy said March 31. “It’s time to move on. I’ve served with the Congresswoman, we’ve been to the border already to see the crisis.”
