Biden Administration Wants Schools to Teach Prejudice. Here’s What Parents Should Know.

President Joe Biden’s administration wants you to know your children are biased, and Washington has a plan to fix them.

This week, the U.S. Department of Education announced that officials are preparing to use taxpayer money for K-12 schools to advocate the idea that America is systemically racist, and anyone who thinks differently, children included, are part of the problem—whether students know it or not.

Since members of Congress reintroduced a legislative proposal this year to create national civics standards, the Education Department’s new rule would help shape the content of those standards around the intolerant ideas of critical theory.

In a proposed rule released April 19, federal education officials outlined new priorities for federal grant awards to K-12 educators for use on history and civics education in schools.

The agency would prioritize grants that use critical theory, a worldview that says racism is everywhere and anyone who disagrees is oppressing other people. The Education Department’s announcement highlights The New York Times’ 1619 Project and civics content that the National Museum of African American History and Culture created as exemplary material for educators to use.

Yet the proposal does not mention that the Times’ editors issued a correction to the 1619 Project after high-profile criticism from scholars who said the project’s claims about colonists fighting the American Revolution to protect slavery were wrong. Nor does the federal register say anything about how project editors refused to correct other factual inaccuracies after criticism from Pulitzer Prize-winning researchers.

FBI Releases Documents on Probe Into Death of DNC Staffer Seth Rich

The FBI has produced 68 pages relating to a Democratic National Committee (DNC) worker who was shot dead in 2016 in Washington, including an investigative summary that appears to suggest that someone could have paid for his death.

Seth Rich, who had been the DNC’s voter expansion data director, was shot dead in the early morning hours on July 16, 2016, near his home in the nation’s capital.

The slaying, which remains unsolved, fueled widespread media coverage, especially after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange suggested that Rich was the WikiLeaks source for the leaked 2016 presidential campaign DNC emails. Rich’s family has called that notion a conspiracy theory.

The newly released files show that top Department of Justice officials met in 2018 and discussed Rich’s murder. They reviewed Rich’s financial records and didn’t identify any unusual deposits or withdrawals.

Additionally, none of the witnesses interviewed during the investigation reported to authorities anything unusual about Rich’s life prior to the homicide.

One witness saw an individual walking away from the location where Rich was killed but thought Rich was merely drunk so they didn’t alert officials. They realized something bad had happened when they saw a bloodstain on the ground in the same place the following day, as well as police tape surrounding the scene.

A person whose name was redacted took Rich’s personal laptop to his house, according to one of the newly released documents. The page also indicates that authorities didn’t know whether the person deleted or changed anything on the laptop.

The FBI came into possession of Rich’s work laptop, the bureau previously revealed.

On another page, it was said that “given [redacted] it is conceivable that an individual or group would want to pay for his death.”

MIT social distancing study finds ‘there really isn’t much of a benefit to the 6-foot-rule’ indoors

Researchers say ‘this emphasis on distancing has been really misplaced from the very beginning’

A pair of professors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology say indoor social distancing guidelines are unnecessary and not based on science, after finding that it makes virtually no difference whether folks are 6 or 60 feet apart when it comes to the spread of COVID-19.

MIT professors Martin Bazant and John W.M. Bush have published a study arguing that “the current revival of the American economy is being predicated on social distancing, specifically the Six-Foot Rule, a guideline that offers little protection from pathogen-bearing aerosol droplets sufficiently small to be continuously mixed through an indoor space.”

They found, in short, as CNBC explains, that “the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 indoors is as great at 60 feet as it is at 6 feet — even when wearing a mask.”

“We argue there really isn’t much of a benefit to the 6-foot rule, especially when people are wearing masks,” Bazant told the outlet. “It really has no physical basis because the air a person is breathing while wearing a mask tends to rise and comes down elsewhere in the room so you’re more exposed to the average background than you are to a person at a distance.”

Has socialism harmed no one?

George Santayana famously said that those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it. That was demonstrated when a Florida representative made a remarkable claim last week on the floor of the state House of Representatives. He claimed socialism never killed anyone.

Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith (D), representing the University of Central Florida area (Orlando), defended “democratic socialism” with this amazing statement: “These are semi-allegations that socialism has killed people around the world. My question is, ‘Are you at all concerned that by focusing on democratic socialism, which has exactly resulted in no deaths, no one being physically harmed, and not addressing the very real problem of neo-Nazism, white supremacy, and fascism in the last four years, we are sending a very bad message?’”

Socialism has harmed no one, brought no deaths? To condemn socialism sends “a very bad message”?

Socialism, beginning with its anti-God premise, has caused immeasurable harm all over the world.

First of all, the Nazi movement itself was the National German workers’ socialist party. The Nazis caused an abundance of “physical harm” and death. The Holocaust, which killed six million Jews and millions of other victims according to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, could not have taken place if the National Socialists in Germany had not been able to seize power.

Secondly, the socialist countries that went full-bore into communism resulted in tens of millions of deaths. Socialism and communism are two sides of the same coin – the communist side being more violent than socialism.

But to implement true socialism, forced government redistribution of wealth, the state resorts to violence. It happens everywhere socialism is fully implemented.

Pope hangs image of nude Jesus caressing Judas behind his desk

‘One of the most blasphemous and ungodly images’

A report by the Vatican’s own newspaper reveals Pope Francis recently hung an image behind his desk depicting a naked Jesus Christ caressing his dead apostle Judas Iscariot.

In an article titled “Judas and the Scandal of Mercy,” L’Osservatore Romano dedicated the first three pages of its edition the day before Good Friday to a makeover of the disciple who betrayed the Son of God at the Passover.

The author of the lead editorial, Andrea Monda, said the paper chose this year to honor the “most tragic and unsettling” figure of the Gospel.

The Catholic-defense group Tradition in Action was among the first to blast the display, writing:

The editor – probably obeying an order of Pope Francis – chose to post on its front page the reproduction of a picture, above and below first row, that presents a naked Jesus bending over and tenderly ministering to a dead Judas.

Texas Sues Biden Administration for Flouting Own Virus Rules at the Southern Border

(NTD) The wealthy are getting tax hikes. Capital gains tax is going up—nearly doubling. That’s how President Joe Biden plans to pay for the second part of the infrastructure plan, known as the American Family Plan. Senate Republicans countered Biden’s infrastructure plan with their own on Thursday. It costs less than half of Biden’s $2 trillion plan.

The Biden administration is facing another lawsuit. The Texas attorney general claims the White House is flouting its own pandemic rules at the southern border while trying to handle the surge of illegal immigrants crossing over from Mexico. The lawsuit says administration officials “have abandoned the preexisting protections against” foreigners coming into the country who are infected with the virus.

A bipartisan bill is aiming to increase capacity in migrant shelters and resolve asylum claims in a timely manner. It’s led by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and intends to improve the government’s response to the influx of migrants on the Southern Border.

Ohio Bar Bans NBA Games Until LeBron James ‘Expelled’ From League After Targeting Cop; James Fires Back

A bar in Cincinnati, Ohio, will no longer show NBA games until LeBron James is “expelled” from the league after he tweeted a photograph targeting a police officer who saved a black girl from being stabbed last week, captioning it, “YOU’RE NEXT.”

“If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub,” Linne’s Pub owner Jay Linneman said in a Facebook post. “We will not air them until Lebron James has been expelled from the NBA.”

James, a left-wing Democrat activist, tweeted out a photograph of the police officer — who allegedly shot and killed a girl who was trying to stab another girl — writing, “YOU’RE NEXT. #ACCOUNTABILITY.” James included an emoji of an hour glass, which is used to signify that time is running out.

Linneman told The Cincinnati Enquirer that if high ranking elected government officials did what James did, there would be calls for their removal from office.

“They just need to play the game and that’s it,” he added. “Their opinion doesn’t really matter. They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right.”

James responded to news that the bar banned NBA games by appearing to mock the bar, writing on Twitter: “Aww Damn! I was headed there to watch our game tonight and have a drink! Welp.”

POLITICO: Matt Gaetz For President?

POLITICO’s Tara Palmeri has claimed that Rep. Matt Gaetz could be “politically untouchable” if he gets through the increasingly transparent partisan scandal he is currently in the fourth week of.

In a new POLITICO video, Palmeri – one of the paper’s leading reporters – says:

“There is one thing I do think that is interesting about this. It’s that if Matt Gaetz survives this, and say he does stay in office, he could be politically untouchable which would make him only more powerful if he gets through this. And I know that’s a crazy idea, but people are telling him that. I know that for a fact. If he can come out of this, he’ll probably run for president.”
