Cybersecurity Expert Claims Maricopa County Ballot Printers Had Been Tampered With

A cybersecurity expert testified as part of Kari Lake’s lawsuit that ballot printer issues across Maricopa County had to have been purposefully tampered with. Printer errors such as those experienced on Election Day occurred due to deliberate, conscience changes to printer settings, expert Clay Parikh explained. Election open source researcher Heather Honey also testified that there was no chain of custody for early voting ballots.

From Just the News:

[Maricopa County Director of Elections Scott Jarrett] also testified that there was no 19-inch ballot design for the 2022 general election, only the August primary, so ballot printers couldn't have printed the wrong ballot.

[Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer] was questioned by Lake's attorney Bryan Blehm about his responsibilities as the Maricopa County recorder, which include Early Voting ballots and ballots in drop boxes, including any early ballots dropped off on Election Day.

Under cross-examination by the defendants' legal counsel, Richer said that he had "absolutely not" done anything to make the ballot printers not print correctly or knew of anyone who did.
