CDC Might Add COVID Vax to Children’s Required Immunization List

Doctors pointed out that there is “no clinical data” to support the vaccine for children.

QUICK FACTS:
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is expected to add COVID-19 vaccinations to the required childhood vaccines list.
  • This addition could be problematic, according to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine professor Dr. Marty Makary, as it would break the protocol for hurdles vaccines traditionally have to overcome in order to be added to the required vaccination list.
  • Makary told Fox News host Tucker Carlson that if the COVID vaccine is added, it would be the first vaccine put on the list “with no clinical data.”
  • According to the doctor, the CDC has only the data from eight mice on which to hang their official recommendations of how the Omicron vaccine will impact young people.
  • Even that data, however, is not publically available, and the White House Coronavirus Response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha has shut down attempts to access the information.
  • Makary said that anyone who wanted to see the information were “basically told [to] stop asking questions.”
  • An FDA briefing document from 2021 reveals that Pfizer added a drug used to treat heart attacks called ‘tromethamine’ to its vaccine for children. Moderna’s jab also contains tromethamine, according to the FDA.
WHAT ADDITION TO THE LIST MEANS:
  • Children may be required to have the COVID-19 vaccine in order to attend school if the CDC’s ACIP adds it to the list of recommended vaccinations for kids.
  • The requirement could be problematic since, according to the Johns Hopkins professor, 1 in 5,000 vaccine doses result in a “severe adverse event.”
  • “There has never been a vaccine added to the child immunization schedule without solid clinical evidence that it reduces disease significantly in the community,” Makary said.
  • “If thousands of people are going to get myocarditis from this indiscriminate vaccination in young and healthy people, we’re going to see some unintended harm. and my concern is that some schools may blindly accept this,” the doctor explained.
BACKGROUND:
  • Worldwide concerns about the vaccine have been growing. In the European Union, European Parliament member Mislav Kolakusic called the EU’s purchase of “unproven” COVID vaccines the “biggest corruption scandal in the history of mankind,” American Faith previously reported.
  • “The purchase of 4.5 billion doses of the Covid-19 vaccine for 450 million EU residents is the biggest corruption scandal in the history of mankind,” Kolakusic said.
  • Florida’s Surgeon General recommended against the mRNA COVID vaccines for males aged 18–39.
