Illegal Aliens Murder Maryland Mother of Two

Two illegal aliens from Guatemala have been charged in the murder of a 23-year-old mother of two in Charles County, Maryland. Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, also from Guatemala, was reported missing on April 2 by her boyfriend, Keycy Robinson Alexis Barrera Rosa, 24, who is now charged with her murder.

Ramirez Guerra was last seen on March 31. Her body was discovered on April 17 in a remote, wooded area near Cedarville State Forest following a joint search by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office and Prince George’s County Police Department.

Barrera Rosa was arrested and is currently in ICE custody in Virginia awaiting extradition to Charles County. His uncle, 37-year-old Rolvin Eduardo Bererra Bererra—also in the U.S. illegally—was arrested and charged as an accessory to murder. He is being held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center.

Both men had crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas, in April 2019 and were released with Notices to Appear before an immigration judge, according to ICE.

Sheriff Troy Berry expressed condolences to the victim’s family, saying, “While this was not the ending that we all hoped for, I am grateful to all those who worked so hard to find Ms. Guerra.”

The case underscores growing concerns about the consequences of lax border enforcement and lenient immigration policies that allow individuals with unknown criminal backgrounds to enter and remain in the United States.
