- “Well, when you say, ‘They see you guys,’ and ‘look like them and grew up like them,’ it means that we’re oddballs to begin with. I think the minute you guys stop making a big deal about it, everybody else will as well,” Bowles went on.

- The issue of race recently became prevalent in the news when black rapper Kanye West wore a shirt saying “White Lives Matter” to Paris fashion week, seeming to contradict the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.
- When asked why he made his controversial “White Lives Matter” shirt, West said it was because “they do,” as American Faith previously reported.
