Right-leaning media company suspended from YouTube just before their planned broadcast of a Trump rally in Georgia.

- Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) was suspended from Google-owned YouTube, according to a statement RSBN posted to Twitter.
- The company noted that the suspension happened ahead of former President Donald Trump’s Georgia rally in what they called a “strike” against the news agency.
- The group was gearing up to broadcast the March 26 Georgia rally held to assist the gubernatorial campaign of ex-Sen. David Perdue and other GOP candidates in the state, according to BizPac Review.
RSBN’S STATEMENT ABOUT THE SUSPENSION:
- In a statement, the media company explained what happened, saying: āConveniently timed just days before President Donald Trumpās rally in Georgia, YouTube has issued a strike on RSBNās channel.
- “On Tuesday afternoon, we were notified that our abilities to livestream and upload content have been suspended for one week after YouTube deleted two of our videos that allegedly violated their company policies.
- āThe banned videos include President Donald Trumpās interview with RSBNās own Brian Glenn backstage at the South Carolina rally and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greeneās interview with RSBN at CPAC 2022.
- āGiving no respect to our First Amendment rights, YouTube claims these videos contain āelections misinformationā and a lack of āsufficientā context, warranting their removalā¦ā
BACKGROUND:
- Though RSBN is relatively new the company was previously praised by Trump for its work on social media and through broadcasting, according to BPR.
- Rumble, a conservative-friendly YouTube competitor, appears to be is gearing up for what it expects to be increased online traffic on Saturday through RSBN’s Rumble account.
