X is The Preferred Social Media Platform for Politics, Survey Finds

The results of a Pew Research Center survey indicate that many users resort to X while trying to stay up to date on politics on social media. The next most popular platforms for political information were Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, in that order.

Approximately 59% of X users claim that staying up to date on political matters is one of the reasons they use the website, which was formerly known as Twitter. This sentiment was also expressed by 36% of TikTok users and 26% of Facebook or Instagram users.

Ever since Elon Musk purchased Twitter and rebranded it as “X,” he has created a safe space where individuals can communicate, share valuable and factual information, without being punished by censorship.

The poll results show that more users are using TikTok to interact with individuals who share their interests and for enjoyment. Approximately 95% of TikTok users claim that the main reason they use the app is for entertainment.

In the meantime, friends and family were mentioned by Facebook and Instagram users as the main reasons they used the networks.
