Wuhan Researcher Says COVID-19 Engineered as ‘Bioweapon’ by China

In a recent exclusive interview with the International Press Association, a Wuhan Institute of Virology researcher, Chao Shao, unveiled shocking allegations about the origins of the COVID-19 virus.

Shao spoke with Jennifer Zeng, a Chinese-born human rights activist and author with unique insights into the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and China itself.

Shao’s claims suggest that the virus was not a natural occurrence but was bioengineered as a “bioweapon” by China.

Shao shared that his colleague, Shan Chao, also from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was allegedly instructed by a superior to conduct tests on four distinct strains of the coronavirus.

The purpose of these tests was to determine which strain was most adept at infecting multiple species, including humans.

It’s suggested that this was part of an investigation to understand the virus’ ability to cross species barriers.

Shan Chao was directed to “find out which one had the best ability to infect as many species as possible,” and to “find out how easy it was to infect other species,” according to Shao’s interview.

There were also some unsettling instances described by Shao where virologists were seemingly dispatched on missions unrelated to their professional expertise.

Shao explained that during the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan, several researchers disappeared only to turn up later to check on “the health or hygiene conditions” at hotels accommodating athletes from various countries.

Shan Chao suspected that their real mission was to distribute the virus, considering that hygiene inspections would not typically require the expertise of a virologist.

Shao went on to highlight another suspicious assignment involving his colleague Shan Chao.

He was dispatched to Xinjiang in April 2020 under the pretext of evaluating the health status of Uyghurs in re-education camps, ostensibly to facilitate their early release.

But Shao stressed that such tasks wouldn’t require a virologist, suggesting instead that Shan Chao was sent “to either spread the virus or to observe how the virus worked on humans.”

This information was reportedly relayed to Shao by Shan Chao from March to April 2020.

Nevertheless, as Shao points out, these revelations might only be fragments of a much larger picture.

He acknowledged that investigations into the true origins of the pandemic are still ongoing.

This pandemic has, so far, claimed nearly 7 million lives globally, with the potential for many more unreported deaths.

Consequently, Shao’s allegations have cast a new light on the issue, urging for a more thorough exploration into the pandemic’s true roots.

The importance of understanding the full story cannot be understated, as this would not only provide closure for the millions affected but also inform future global health strategies.

Jennifer Zeng, through her probing interview, has brought us a step closer to this understanding.
