- Journalist Benny Johnson reported that #TruthSocial was trending on Twitter just hours after the launch.
- Conservative commentator Mark Dice tweeted a photo of one of his posts on the micro-blogging platform, saying that “the media is going to meltdown first thing Monday morning.”
BACKGROUND:
- According to The Epoch Times, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) and Digital World Acquisition Corp., which is a Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicle (SPAC), announced in October they would be creating a new company and launching a social media app.
