Trump Urges Arizona to Vote for Kari Lake as Early Voting Begins

President Donald Trump urged Arizonans to vote for Kari Lake on Wednesday as early voting began for the state’s primary elections.

Lake is running against three other Republican candidates in Arizona’s primary. Karrin Taylor Robson, Scott Neely, and Paola Tulliani Zen are each running against Lake for the Republican nomination. The winner of the Republican primary will face Arizona’s current Secretary of State Katie Hobbs or former Nogales Mayor Marco Lopez in the November election.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Early voting starts today in the Great State of Arizona! The people of Arizona have a chance to get a truly great Governor, unlike the one you have right now.”

Despite Trump’s belief that the United States should have same-day voting, the 45th president encouraged the people of Arizona, “Make sure you return your Early Ballot for @KariLake, or Vote in Person on August 2nd. “

As one of the most vocal America First candidates in the conservative movement, Lake holds Trump’s endorsement, giving her an advantage over her primary opponents.

“With Kari, you’ll have Election Integrity, Strong Borders, Safe Streets, and all of the other things you’ve wanted for so long. Vote for Kari Lake,” said Trump, “She has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

Lake shared Trump’s message on Twitter with the caption, “When a man named Donald Trump came down a Golden Escalator in 2015, the world didn’t know it yet — but he started the greatest Political Movement in history.”

Arizona’s Republican primary race has been strongly influenced by the legacy of Trump’s Make America Great Again movement. Lake’s platform is nearly identical to Trump’s conservative policies. With her focus on addressing the issues of the southern border, upholding the integrity of U.S. elections, and defending the Second Amendment, Lake has positioned herself to carry on his legacy.

“Now, MAGA Candidates across America are continuing his legacy.” Lake said, “We are just getting started. THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

The U.S. Vote Foundation announced Wednesday, “Early voting for the Arizona primary on August 2 begins today and extends until August 1. If you are on the Arizona Permanent Early Voting List, you should receive your mail ballot anytime now. In-person early voting is also available.”
