Trump Slams ‘Treasonous Thugs’ for Exploiting Biden’s Decline to Open Borders

President Donald Trump issued a scathing rebuke Tuesday, May 20, accusing members of Joe Biden’s inner circle of betraying the nation by exploiting the former president’s cognitive decline to implement radical open-border policies. In a Truth Social post, Trump claimed that “treasonous thugs” hijacked executive authority, using Biden’s diminished capacity and the autopen to push legislation he would not have approved in his prime.

“The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted,” Trump wrote, asserting that Biden’s historical record contradicted the current administration’s immigration stance. He further alleged, “They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger. This is TREASON at the Highest Level!”

Trump’s remarks come amid renewed scrutiny of Biden’s health following his recent diagnosis with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The release of the book Original Sin by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson has intensified debates over Biden’s fitness for office, with insiders questioning how such a serious illness went undetected for so long.

Vice President JD Vance echoed Trump’s concerns, stating, “In some ways I blame him less than I blame the people around him,” highlighting the role of Biden’s aides in concealing his health issues.

Trump also raised questions about the use of the autopen, a device that replicates a person’s signature, suggesting it was employed to sign off on controversial policies without Biden’s direct approval. “Who signed this legislation?” Trump said to reporters, emphasizing the need for accountability.

“Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.
