Trump to Hold Rally in Michigan on 100th Day in Office

President Donald Trump will mark his 100th days in office with a major rally in Michigan, highlighting what supporters are calling a “historic” return to leadership. The rally is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 PM ET at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan, and is being hosted by the pro-Trump group Securing American Greatness.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the event, saying it will be a celebration of Trump’s achievements during his first 100 days in his second term. “President Trump is eager to celebrate the FIRST 100 DAYS of restoring strength, security, and sovereignty to the American people,” Leavitt said.

The rally, set in the heart of Macomb County—a longtime political bellwether—comes as Trump hits his 100th day and continues to exert strong influence over the GOP and amid growing chatter about the possibility of a third term.

Though the 22nd Amendment currently limits presidents to two terms, there’s been renewed interest among some Republican lawmakers in exploring legal avenues to amend the Constitution and allow Trump to run again in 2028. The President himself has added fuel to the speculation, recently joking that he’d “love” to face Barack Obama in 2028 and telling reporters there are “methods” being looked at to make it happen. “I’m not joking,” he added.

Trump’s rally also comes as Michigan prepares for a key Senate race in 2026, with Democrat Gary Peters announcing he won’t seek reelection. The timing of the rally underscores the President’s intention to keep Michigan in GOP hands and build momentum for future electoral battles.

Tickets for the event are available now, and Trump supporters are expected to turn out in large numbers, continuing the strong grassroots energy that helped propel his political resurgence.
