Trump Secures Agreement with Venezuela to Accept Deported Nationals

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the socialist regime of Venezuela dictator Nicolás Maduro has agreed to accept deported Venezuelan nationals who illegally entered the United States.

This development follows the release of six American hostages previously held by the Maduro regime. Trump revealed that Venezuela has not only agreed to take back its illegal immigrants— including members of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang—but will also arrange transportation for their return.

“It is so good to have the Venezuela hostages back home and, very important to note, that Venezuela has agreed to receive, back into their country, all Venezuela illegal aliens who were encamped in the U.S., including gang members of Tren de Aragua,” Trump stated on Truth Social. “We are in the process of removing record numbers of illegal aliens from all countries, and all countries have agreed to accept these illegal aliens back. Furthermore, record numbers of criminals are being removed from our Country, and the Border numbers are the strongest they have been since the First Term of the Trump Administration!”

This announcement comes on the heels of new DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s decision to revoke an 18-month amnesty extension for approximately 600,000 Venezuelans— a policy implemented under the Biden administration.

Meanwhile, leftist governments across Latin America are expressing outrage over Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration. Honduran President Xiomara Castro has even threatened to expel the small U.S. military presence from her country if mass deportations of Hondurans proceed.

With border security tightening and deportations increasing, Trump’s administration is reaffirming its commitment to restoring law and order on immigration.
