Trump Defends Midterm Scoreboard: ‘232 of 252’ Midterm Races ‘Won’

President Donald Trump smashed mainstream narratives that the Republican midterm races were a failure, defending his high endorsement success rate of “232 out of 252.”

“232 out of 252 Midterm Races WON who had my Endorsement, and the Fake News is working overtime to try and create the most negative narrative possible,” he wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday.

“No, the REAL reasons were other than Trump, and I can name them ALL!” he continued.

The 2022 midterms have been painted by some in the media to be a failure, but Trump’s endorsement record tells a different story. Trump has previously pointed out that he had 232 individual victories to 22 losses in endorsements this midterm cycle, highlighting a very high rate of success.

The “REAL reasons” Trump is referring to are likely in part the Republican establishment leaders who worked against Trump’s endorsees in the midterms. For example, Senate Minority Leader for the Republicans, Mitch McConnell, reportedly dumped massive funding into races for “RINO” Republican candidates like Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, via the Gateway Pundit.

The outlet also reported that McConnell cut his PAC’s financial support for Trump-endorsed Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters ahead of the general election.

As previously reported by RSBN, only 21 percent of likely U.S. voters believe that the Senate should keep McConnell as their leader, based on polling from Rasmussen. This indicates widespread disenchantment with GOP establishment leaders and their fundraising choices.

Of course, the 2022 midterms were also plagued with reports of fraud and voter disenfranchisement, with evidence surfacing in states like Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan that suggests polling places and vote counting may not have been as aboveboard as some had hoped.
