Questions surrounding the 2020 election in Michigan continue to circulate as investigations have led to no direct answers concerning thousands of mystery ballots.

QUICK FACTS:
  • In October 2020, the Muskegon, Michigan, Police Department was asked to investigate a situation involving alleged voter fraud in October 2020, after thousands of voter registrations were hand-delivered, many of them with the same handwriting.
  • The woman dropping off the thousands of registrations was later identified as Brianna Hawkins, who stated she was paid to register voters and obtain absentee ballots.
  • Muskegon City Clerk Ann Meisch contacted the police after seeing the documents, noting that the quantity of the materials was suspicious.
  • Some of the addresses on the voter registrations did not exist in the city.
  • Two individuals from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s Criminal Investigation Division joined the investigation, although the probe was never announced publically.
  • Nessel still claims there is no evidence of voter fraud in Michigan.
  • An article by a nationally known fact-checking service disputed the accounts of the Muskegon incident, saying the numbers “didn’t add up.”
  • “While the total number of voter registration forms submitted by that person may add up to as much as 12,500, very few of them were deemed to be fraudulent,” the fact checker said.
  • However, Epoch Times recently published an article questioning the legitimacy of the so-called fact-checkers’ claims.
  • “If there were only 42 suspected fraudulent voter registration applications submitted to the city clerk, why didn’t she register the rest of the batch,” the outlet asked.
  • According to state Republican Party officials Phil O’Halloran and Lori Skibo, Meisch dropped off more than a third of the town’s population.
  • When pressed, Meisch claimed she couldn’t discuss the “facts” surrounding the case.
  • “I cannot speak to the facts of the case at this time. I am sorry that I cannot be of more help,” the clerk told the media outlet.
REPUBLICAN OFFICIAL PHIL O’HALLORAN ON THE MYSTERY BALLOTS FOUND IN MICHIGAN:

“Even a casual observer can readily see that something is wrong. The numbers do not add up. The number of registration forms turned in by one person represent a third of the population of the city,” O’Halloran said.

BACKGROUND:
  • According to a survey conducted by Monmouth University in June 2023, there’s a growing concern among the majority of Americans regarding the potential threat to their fundamental freedoms.
  • The survey underscored a significant division between Republicans and Democrats, each emphasizing different rights.
  • An alarming revelation from the poll is that only 40% of respondents have faith in the overall structure of our government.
  • Furthermore, a minuscule percentage of the surveyed individuals showed substantial trust in the collective wisdom of the American populace.
  • The pessimism was more pronounced among Republicans, who maintained a more critical view of these parameters.
  • One of the most striking findings is the sustained belief among two-thirds of Republicans that the 2020 presidential election was influenced by voter fraud.
  • This perception of Joe Biden’s presidential win being attributed to voter fraud has remained relatively steady since Monmouth University first started polling post the November 2020 election.
