Attorneys general in 11 states filed suit Friday against President Joe Biden’s administration, challenging a new vaccine requirement for workers at companies with more than 100 employees.
The Daily Wire, a news website founded by conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro, is suing the Biden administration over its “tyrannical vaccine mandate” requiring large companies to ensure their employees are vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to regular testing.
"Where parental consent is required, health workers should allow older children and adolescents to provide assent to the vaccination," the document states.
Republican Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona introduced a bill to abolish the Occupational Safety and Health Administration after the federal agency promulgated a Biden administration rule forcing private businesses with more than 100 employees to mandate coronavirus vaccines or submit to weekly testing.
The White House is giving federal contractors more flexibility in how they enforce the vaccine mandate amid fears that the edict could cause companies to drop contracts.
