Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen called for a special legislative session to combat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham's (D) 30-day executive order blocking open and concealed-carry firearms.
The operation's success was largely attributed to the dedicated work of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) that included victim specialists, child/adolescent forensic interviewers, and other victim service personnel.
The international campaign, dubbed Operation "FLASH-WEKA," witnessed the concerted efforts of law enforcement agencies across 54 countries to dismantle criminal networks involved in human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
