Officials said at least six people on a United Airlines flight headed to New Jersey were hospitalized when the plane was diverted over the weekend to an upstate New York airport because of high winds and a sick passenger.
The Federal Aviation Administration is considering measures to more closely monitor United Airlines following a series of safety incidents among the airline.
