The Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR) filed a complaint against Seattle Public Schools' Pathfinder K-8 School after offering affinity groups based on race.

A group of parents from Massachusetts gathered last week to protest a scheduled drag queen performance to be hosted at Newton North High School.

Students at the University of Arizona were caught on camera Wednesday throwing eggs at anti-abortion activists and their graphic display featuring images of aborted babies.

The parents say the school didn't inform them of what happened until 17 days after the report was filed.

The school district does not have an opt-out policy for the material.

“This is not the answer,” Gov. Lee said. “This is an appropriate step.”

California lawmakers are considering a bill, AB 1314, which would require schools to notify parents within three days if their child requests to be referred to by a name typically associated with the opposite gender or uses a bathroom or locker room designated for the opposite sex.
