The U.S. shot down a fourth flying object Sunday afternoon at 20,000 feet above Michigan’s Lake Huron, the Pentagon said, underscoring its stepped-up defense of North American airspace following the discovery of a suspected Chinese spy balloon.
The Global Disinformation Index (GDI), a foreign think tank headquartered in the United Kingdom, released an assessment of American online media designed to blacklist conservative media outlets and choke off their advertising revenue. The information is kept on what GDI calls its “Dynamic Exclusion List.”
In the 2022 fiscal year, 2,176 Chinese nationals were encountered at the southern border, while in the 2023 fiscal year, in just the first three months, southern border patrol agents reported 1,915 Chinese migrants attempting to enter the country.
"We have raised concerns about the treatment of prisoners of war, including alleged killings of POWs by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with Ukraine's Ministry of Defense," Hurtado said. "We are aware of this video, and we believe that it is authentic."
