On Monday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law requiring public school classrooms to hold a one-minute moment of silence at the beginning of each day to give students an opportunity for "quiet reflection."
Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said schools nationwide should be able to reopen for in-class learning in September — even if all children and teachers are not vaccinated.
School officials say the COVID-tracking app will keep kids safe. But critics warn the technology, required in order for children to attend class, infringes on kids’ privacy and that parents should be concerned.
