Researchers at Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands, with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, have developed a controversial method to deliver malaria vaccines using genetically modified mosquitoes. Dubbed “flying vaccinators,” these insects are engineered to deliver vaccine components via their bites.

The New York City Department of Health has begun spraying pesticides throughout the city to "combat" the spread of the West Nile Virus, which is transmitted by mosquitoes.

In November 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced that MosquitoMate, Inc. had submitted plans to infect live male mosquitoes with a bacteria called "Wolbachia pipientis," which enhances WNV infection.

Gates also funds pharmaceutical treatments for tick-borne illnesses.

Florida health officials announced a new locally acquired case of malaria discovered in the southern region of Sarasota County. 

Of the deaths studied, "a total of 240 deaths (73.9%) were independently adjudicated as directly due to or significantly contributed to by COVID-19 vaccination."

The allegations suggest that the line of questioning was particularly severe for female candidates, with some reporting they were asked about their preference for pornography, the presence of explicit pictures on their phones, extramarital affairs, and whether they had ever "danced for dollars."

The last time the United States saw cases of malaria was when seven people got sick in Palm Beach County in July-August 2003.
