The U.S. Senate rejected a proposed amendment that would have created an office of Lead Inspector General to oversee the billions of aid sent to Ukraine.
The plea deal consisted of a "plea agreement" and a "diversion agreement" that would have protected Hunter Biden from foreign lobbying crimes and other felonies.
Hunter Biden allegedly violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) for not registering himself as having lobbied for foreign companies, although other individuals disclosed their lobbying under FARA.
