Russian Billionaire Who Wired Millions to Hunter Biden Kept off of Sanctions List

Hunter Biden’s business associate Devon Archer revealed that Joe Biden met with the widow of a Moscow mayor, Elena Baturina.

Baturina invested $40 million into Hunter’s real estate ventures and paid another $3.5 million in consulting fees.

Last Year, Karine Jean-Pierre did not confirm if Biden met with Baturina.

Jean-Pierre also declined to explain why Baturina has not been sanctioned.

A reporter asked, “How is [President Biden] handling the conflict of interest there given his son was a business associate of these two people, and can you confirm that as sitting vice president, he dined with Baturina in Georgetown?”

Jean-Pierre responded, “I’m just not speaking to anything that’s related to his son from here.”

She added, “As it relates to any sanctions, I’m not speaking to individual persons from Russia.”

Reporting from The Daily Mail:

In 2012 Hunter’s firm had a $69.7million plan to invest in 2.15million sq ft of office space in seven US cities.

Documents outlining the plan said the money came from a mix of investors, including $40million from Inteco Management AG, a Swiss company owned by Baturina.

The Inteco group is a plastics and construction behemoth that made Baturina the richest woman in Russia at the time. She has a current net worth of $1.4billion according to Forbes.
