A coalition of 19 European Union countries and Norway has formally urged the European Commission to authorize deportations of illegal and criminal Afghan migrants back to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.
Authorities in Lancaster County, South Carolina, have charged six illegal immigrants, aged 13 to 21, in connection with the May 2 murder of 40-year-old mother Larisha Sharrell Thompson.
