Following this discovery, the ballots were audited by the Michigan secretary of state's office, with the findings accessible only through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Thetford Township Supervisor Rachel Stanke says approximately 300 absentee ballots from the 2020 election were discovered in a storage unit in Michigan.
Emphasizing the importance of faith in the election process, Stanke stated, “That’s why I want to bring this to their attention,” adding, “And I want them to be able to make sure that their elections are run fairly and smoothly.”
Consequently, the Full Committee business meeting, initially scheduled to vote on holding Director Wray in contempt of Congress on Thursday, has been canceled.
