The right-wing Colorado Party of Paraguay has won the Presidency and secured both chambers of the national legislature in the country's recent elections.
Florida lawmakers created an exemption to the state’s “resign-to-run” law that would allow the current Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for president in 2024 without resigning from his position.
State Sen. Lynda Wilson (R-Vancouver) criticized the legislation, stating, “HB 1240 clearly violates our state and federal constitutions, which is why it will end up in court immediately."
