A supervisory agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shared a testimony that corroborates a previous testimony from Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers.
Internal document procured from Facebook suggests that the agent, Elvis Chan, lied about conversations he had with the tech giant concerning the high-profile October 2020 revelations involving Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden.
"In place of the unannounced visits, revenue officers will instead make contact with taxpayers through an appointment letter, known as a 725-B, and schedule a follow-up meeting," a press release reads. "This will help taxpayers feel more prepared when it is time to meet."
