A prominent Canadian pastor who has emerged as an outspoken critic of his government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic has been released from prison after nearly two months in custody.
Pope Francis apologized and begged forgiveness Friday for the “deplorable” abuses suffered by Indigenous Peoples in Canada’s residential schools, saying he was ashamed and indignant at all they had endured at the hands of Catholic educators.
The three Misiura brothers have a family history of military service. Their grandfather was a Navy machinist in the Korean War, their father was in the Air Force, and each of the brothers enlisted with pride to carry on the family legacy and support American liberty.
The men that lived in Boston, Massachusetts in the 1770s played an invaluable role in forming the foundation of the United States of America, a country where religious liberty was integral to the founders' vision for the nation's future. Those same men would be appalled by what's going on near their city today.
