The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Wednesday released three studies on the effectiveness of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. A UK study released Tuesday showed people with "breakthrough" infections carry as much virus as the unvaccinated.
"It's abusive to force kids who struggle with them to sacrifice for the sake of unvaccinated adults," write Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Tufts Children's Hospital doctors.
Pfizer hiked its projections for COVID vaccine revenues, telling investors this week it expects booster shots, a vaccine targeting the Delta variant and anticipated authorization of its vaccines for children as young as 6 months will drive revenues higher.
